We are having our floors refinished and getting the stair rails/posts/stringers/columns repainted as well. Currently railings are bright white and high gloss and columns and stringers are a different shade of white. We are thinking about doing Benjamin Moore Randolph Gray on the columns and Capitol White on rails/stringers/bannisters, satin finish. Thoughts? Worried that all dark is too much but would like some drama. House is transitional mid century modernish built late 70s. Walls are Home Depot version of Revere Pewter, they look more grey than beige. Floors will .red oak stained natural.
