I think Revere Pewter would look good on the ceiling since you are doing a dramatic wall.

I do not think that would be good in a basement unless you have great natural light or even better artificial lighting. I see no windows in the pics so IMO white .

Your Dove White trim colour but in flat ceiling paint.

Since your trim is White Dove, I would paint the ceiling White Dove.

I painted mine black and the walls dark blue. It really depends on the vibe you're going for and your tolerance for repainting.

I’d maintain continuity with the upstairs since you’re using the same colors anyway.

We ended up choosing the same upstairs colors for the trim, ceiling and walls, but added a black ceiling and accent wall in the main living area. It is not dark and gloomy at all! Thanks everyone for your input
