Pruning out the LL trees. Some branching I wasn't thrilled about. I cut out the WYE out and left a 5-8 inch stick. We shall see if a dormant bud will send something out

In looking at past years similar blind cut, sometimes it remains just wood and bare and sometimes I will get a bud not so easily seen to waken up. It's inside the canopy so no real losses either way.

What's your success rate with blind prune cuts and having new growth sprout about.
