Large Wall in dining room and lighting suggestions needed!

Hello, I’m hoping to get advice on what to put up, if anything, on this 13’ wall with vaulted angled ceilings. No overhead lighting (1978 design) hence the plug in lights which I don’t mind but will take suggestions there as well! The left corner is dark in the evening so I try to brighten it up but do not like having a floor lamp there. Thank you!

I don't think you can put anything on that wall while you have those plug in wall lights.

The age of the house has nothing to do with the ability to add ceiling lights, recessed or hanging. Sure it can take time, money and several holes in your drywall that will then need to be patched, but lights can be added to most homes.

I would really look at adding an electrical box in the ceiling for a chandelier. Once you remove the wall lights you will have a nice wall for hanging art.

Put one of the wall lights in the corner where the floor lamp currently resides and put artwork on that wall.
