My floppy daffodils are the ones with zillions of petals. The regular trumpets always stay upright.

Mine have only flopped because they were over crowded and had not been divided in too long. But yours are newly planted so I'm a bit stumped.

these dont bloom like daisies which are at the end of a straight stalk

I think OP is referring to the ones where the stem is lying flat on the ground, not just the angle of the flower head. Mine do it after heavy rain, wind and, very rarely, snow. Daffs in containers do it if they lack water. If the leaves and petals feel soft I'd suspect the soil's a bit dry. Or an animal might have walked through the bed. But it's odd that only some of them are doing it. I don't think it's anything to do with how they were planted.

Possibly the wind eddies there against the wall.
