Trying to figure out how to decorate the walls beside the fireplace whether to put bookshelves or just pictures tables…

fabulous space and dramatic fireplace!

I would mount the TV on the wall to the right and include furniture rather than built in shelving, etc.

Take the TV off the fireplace and put it to the side of the dramatic fireplace, which calls for a great art work or just the plain, beautiful stone and not a TV on it at all. What you have now are two huge black rectangles on top of each other. This is a fabulous look for a fireplace like yours. You're lucky to be able to move the TV over and adjust your living room layout.

^ agree, there are so many amazing mounting brackets available (up/down, extend, swivel) - I’d be tempted to get a great credenza + Frame TV

As suggested, remove the TV from above the fireplace. It does not compliment your fireplace and you have plenty of room for it to the side. As suggested above, I would get a great credenza that would give you storage.
