I have a 1950s jerkinhead bungalow with planning for a full width dormer at the rear. We like the bricks on the main house, but what do we put on the roof and how do we clad/tile the dormer?We were thinking of Cedral but it's very expensive and can't decide on lap or click or vertical or horizontal. Or, do we do hung tiles in the same as the roof, whatever that may be..... And then the question of window colour. We could always paint the downstairs doors to match.It's a lot of roof and we just want it to look lovely. We are slowly refurbishing the inside to be more in keeping with it's era, but outside is troublesome. We love the design of the new plan and it works perfectly inside for our budget but the finishing is so tricky.Any ideas or help would be great!
