They are fine. I love your sconce, and I like your wallpaper. The wallpaper style is more appropriate for an older home with a vintage vibe.

The sconce is brass. My house is a new build but I think it will fit in nicely🤞

I really love the sconce but am not really crazy about it being positioned horizontally. Maybe because of the heavy backplate? or maybe because of the way the cage runs? something just seems off with it being horizontal.

Yea I do!

I was going to do two of them - hung vertically - on either side of the mirror but didnt have enough space. This led me to the decision to hang it above the mirror hirizontally.
