Help with thin console table or cabinent

Hi all, I recently moved to New York and cannot seem to find the right piece of furniture for the white wall area in the first picture. I am hoping to find a THIN either console table, accent cabinet or shoe rack (something with storage would be great - but I am also open to figuring out another storage space in not the main room if a cleaner/smaller piece of furniture look seems better). I see a lot of thin shoe storage options on Amazon, but do they look a little cheap in person?
