The Nordic we did two. Lots of random start/stop marks. No picture. Sanded off. Natural we did one coat. But it was so bad, sanded off last night. We've done poly water and oil on our floors in the past. This floor, we are really wanting to maintain the natural look with a sealer. But these bona sealers are too advanced for our skill and/or complicated with the very dry climate and high tannin pull. 3rd pic is the raw wood. Love your poly floors in your profile. Go for ceranova raw zero gloss?

It's not a product issue. It's a installation issue. Are you a pro or DIY-er? Marks are not tannins, just lap marks.

DIY with the finish. We milled and installed these ourselves. So much time into them. never tried a sealer with whitener. All other floors we made we just put clear poly on top, but it's been 10 years since our last floor. We do a lot of slab/wood work with Rubio. Just wanted something harder for the floors. Kids and a dog in the mountains. Everything is played on hard.

Are you rolling or using a T-bar? How many persons are applying the coating?

Rolling. 2 people, 1 cutting, 1 rolling. We have less than 10% humidity here. Dry time is lightning.

Cool the space down, turn off the heat and apply the product with the space cold. This will help extend the dry time. You can always turn the system back on after a few hours. Or at least until after you are done coating.

Just walk the roller from end to end. Otherwise, using a product like Bona Classic seal will yield better result at your skill level. Avoid any pigmented finishes.

G&S has this one exactly right. ClassicSeal is the way to go. You DO NOT have tannin pull, but be cautious about applying the sealer too thick or leaving puddles.

You still have to strip the finish off to apply new stuff.
