Shower tile problem?

Getting master bath professionally re-done. They started tiling shower today and at ejd of work day, I looked at it and first thing I noticed were the tile cuts in the corner seams. My eye goes right to it. Shouldn't it appear like the full tile is wrapping around the corner? Also, both left and right walls have a different pattern on the corner seams. Is this normal? Am I overthinking or would it be more than acceptable for me to ask them to fix it? My husband seems to think once its grouted you won't even notice it.

It’s not great but your husband is right with matching grout it won’t be as visible.

To my eye the red guard looks far too thin and I don’t see any thinset on the screws but I’m not a tiler. I just hope it’s waterproof.

The left corner would bother me - I don’t understand why they did it like that. Also - they should have adjusted the back wall so no tiny slivers in the left corner.

As already commented above - the RedGard is not thick enough to meet specifications provided by manufacturer.

Also, it looks like they used RedGard in shower pan and curb (my understanding that it’s not a great choice) - but more importantly, why haven’t they protected the floor??!??!!

Is that wood showing on the curb?

Why was the RedGard stopped underneath the showerhead?
