I'm unsure if I would buy this rose again. There is no safe place to hold this rose except on the bloom itself.

Hoang it is beautiful but I agree ! Those thorns are not to be played around by. Mine is still small and I think of digging it out every time I go near bc it really seems like a hazardous rose !! It would be perfect to keep out intruders

It's stunningly beautiful and seems to bloom a lot for you. I'm saying this as one who is not much of a fan of nearly white roses. Awful thorns are just part of some roses. I ignore them. Of course, right now, I have plenty of scratches and punctures even after wearing goatskin gloves with cowhide gauntlets while doing recent pruning. Please keep the Parson. Diane

I agree Diane...I don't care about the thorns. It's part of roses. But then, I don't have really huge plants.

Thank you for posting this. very interesting for me as my daughter bought me this rose for my birthday last October. No buds on mine yet (I am in the UK) but hoping for some soon! It had buds last November but DA advised me to remove them.
