karl foerester.... should it look like this now?

Hi


So my landscaper planted these last week. They are in full sun. I have been watering every other day. I have no experience with this grass. It appears its only leaves right now.(some are broken) I do no see any reed like stalks.Do the reeds come out later in the growth phase or should all these leaves be straight up now? Can a green thumb have a look and see if these look normal or not?
