Yes, nothing like yours, Dee (although the geums are putting on a sterling show and the hardy annuals are perking up). Bloody freezing too.

What I would give if Geum grew here! And lupine, and Delphinium... Lovelies that hate my conditions.

The star shaped, taller flower is Nicotiana alata 'Jasmine'. Flowering tobacco. Great for a moon and/or fragrant garden. It closes during the blazing sun time of day, and opens as shade hits it. Rather like Ipomoea nil, also known as "moonflower" vine (in my flower beds, nearby, there are also white four o'clocks, which continues the theme. Just intermingled)

@rob333 (zone 7b), thanks! That is what I thought. It is an annual isn’t it? I saw in Walmart and it smelled heaven. l almost bought one but it was past prime time so I gave up. Did you grow it from seeds?

I did grow from seed, but it is actually a perennial. For me, they come back year after year, and I don't mean by seed, though they do reseed. I would suggest you grow it, because you'll see that it's an easy to grow garden staple.
