I would look for another smoother wood like maple to pair with that table. Upholstered chairs might over whelm the sleek lines of your table.

Since I have no idea of your style nor decor, I went with some of your ideas .

Beige chairs with black legs, black buffet with cane detail on the doors.

I don't think your table can seat as many chairs as shown below but it would look better less crowded.

@lisedv this is actually the perfect style! I wanted like a Japandi style or something neutral but I felt like it would be too neutral if I got the same color buffet or light oak. The white TV console does't really fit with the dining room suggestions perhaps if you painted it black (spray paint for a nice finish) it would look better in the entire decor which I presume is open concept.

I would go with a wood coffee table in the same tone of the other wood in the room with black side tables. See below with another option for your dining room.
