I love Yellow Lady Banks - here is a pic of our old one on our house before the Fire Dept made us take it down (I thought calling it and the not-blooming Cl Cecile Brunner next to it "cultivated bio mass" was rude!).

I know most folks on here have seen it too many times, but in case anyone does not know how big it can get - this is an example. I think it might be "indeterminate" - it grew right up to the roof, and then through the sofit one year, and came out and bloomed actually on top of the roof shingles! Of course, we all know about the white one in Arizona...

Wow, the color! They are gorgeous!

Mine are fading now. I will try to find time to cut out the white one's growth into the neighboring hazelnut: 'Dupontii' needs that space. In any case, the white Lady Banks can take over the flowering ash on the other side of its pergola. The yellow Lady Banks has reached the top of its flowering ash in the woods, and I'm wondering whether and where it will continue its wanderings, as there's plenty of space down there. It's not at its most visually effective silhouetted against the sky, but that's the situation. They are wonderful roses.

Jackie -- my yaller is wonderful -- and though our cruddy spring weather cost us some of the big shoiw, in our climate it blooms ALMOST all year.

In this climate, I wouldn't be without it.
