I don’t but I would love to see a picture of that!

I had Crepuscule send out something..I dont know if it was a basal that went underground or an actual root. I havent dug down to see. I had planted a young Own Root Crepuscule in front of my barn fence. A deer or something came and ate it to the ground this winter. This spring, it popped up from the ground about 9 inches away. The original also started growing back. So now theres 2 little "trunks/main stems") lol. I never had it do that at my old house (different Crepuscule plant that was quite large) but then again, it was never eaten to the ground there. I have a few different noisettes and they havent went underground.

Mrs Woods Lavender Pink Noisette is very vigorous about sending basals straight out horizontal with the ground -so it wouldnt surprise me if she went underground too but she hasn't so far lol.

A sprout from 'Narrow Water' popped up about 5' from my main plant last year.

Did you sneak a look at my garden plans? Mrs. Woods Lavender Pink Noisette IS the closest to the wanderer...maybe four feet away in the next bed (and slightly offset) to the west. MSLPN is hanging on, and a whole lot pinker than the wanderer.

Last year was a wicked nasty fall: three months in a row with less than an inch of rain. Tomorrow is supposed to be a calmer day and may be better for photography.

We visited the national ag. library in Beltsville MD to look at some plant catalogs in their collection. One very early one page print from a major nursery on Long Island had White Champney Rose set up in print. Below it, carefully hand written in near perfect script (think ealy 1800's) "Also pink".

That's so interesting that MWLPN is close to the wanderer lol. I got mine into the ground here, from a pot, last spring. I mistakenly thought she was Maman Cochet Cl that I had that was in a similar pot (brought both from the old house) Also, I never intentionally bought Lavender Pink Noisette, she was mistakenly sent to me by RVR instead of the Maman Cochet Cl that I ordered (big surprise) So its funny that I mistakenly planted her instead of MC Cl lol.

So anyhoo...she has grown huge and I can totally see her popping up somewhere in her neighbor's business. She does bloom a lot and although the blooms aren't really special looking or anything, she is so healthy, she is staying where she is. The chickens like to get underneath that shrub and dirt bathe lol.

I wonder if Mrs Woods Lavender Pink Noisette has any white sports? I dont really know anything about her and have only in recent years, got into Noisettes.
