Which is the fig ? Is it the one that's just a stick ? If so do the scratch test. Spay the tree trunk with water for a minute or so, look at the trunk close wherever the trunk stays orange brownish, that part is dead, looking down to words soil level if you lucky enough you will see brown greenish color trunk, this should be alive, cut above the live part but live at last 3 inch of the dead part, later on you can make it prettier IF ! TREE IS STILL ALIVE.
