I'm removing an over the range microwave and replacing it with a hood. I had wanted Zephyr Venezia but the appliance store said I need an insert in my application. I think the reason for an insert is that the vent opening in the ceiling is off center. This a new 30" Wolf induction and a 30" cabinet above. Recommended is a Zephyr Monsoon 1 AK9228 or Vent-A-Hood BH228SLD

This is in a 1470sf condo with the kitchen open to the living room. The cabinet doors are going to be new and there will be a new 36" SubZero with panel where the GE refrig is. I'm eager for any advice.
