I’m really loving the intense sunset colors on my Crazy Love! She’s a bit floppy and spotty for me but she’s young and been stuck in a small container and is otherwise healthy and vigorous.

It seems I forgot to take a picture of how she ages in a vase but they lasted 5 days and the colors increase in contrast and look really interesting. No/minimal scent to my nose.

I dont grow many but i love the impressionist , a climber !

I am looking up Crazy Love now. This is a wondeful thread. I love these colors too. Planted a Sunset bed this year. The bouquets are just what’s blooming today, but lots of sunset colors to share.

my sunset bed has Jude the Obscure, Ronald Dahl, Lady Emma Hamilton, Lady of Shallot, Eustacia Vye and Carding Mill. Right next to it, but not fitting in is Fun in the Sun rose which is in the bouquet on the right, top and most left facing rose (nearly center of photo) : it’s a yellow bloom. warm orangey / Pink on the inside and yellow reverse. Sorry if that’s confusing. Don’t have a solo photo and have a sleeping baby on my lap 🤪

Marianne is a favorite of mine. She's a modern Gallica, so she needs chill hours and is a once bloomer, and blooms on old wood (no fall or winter or early spring pruning ). She likes pegging and room, but she's my favorite orange/apricot rose.
