Is this a stir fry restaurant? : ) everyone watching? What is the boxed in length of the sink area for prepping, as there is little to none on that cooking island.

It sounds like you're making great progress with your new build 😊 Given the natural light from the east and your extensive cooking plans, here are some ideas.

For cupboards, try Sherwin Williams Alabaster or Benjamin Moore White Dove. Both are warm, soft whites that aren’t too stark. For the island, a pastel blue like Rainwashed (SW 6211) or Palladian Blue could provide a soothing pop of color. These blues are gentle and blend nicely with neutral surroundings. For walls, a cool gray or blue would look good with the white cabinets and blue island. Maybe try Light French Gray.

If you have concerns about light colors in a busy kitchen, opt for high-quality, semi-gloss or high-gloss paint finishes for your cabinets and walls. You could also use a clear coat over painted areas to protect against marks. Good luck with your project!

I ahve no idea what you want from us . I run a catering biz from my home and have never had a reason to have a built in deep fryer or a teamer in an island . Cooking appliance directly across form a sink always bad design . A deep fryer needs to have the oil changed every time you use is it for anything other than fries, bagels or donuts . Chicke change the oil just ridiculous in a home kitchen. A pot storage anywhere except next to the cooktop just plain PITA same with spice rack away from the work area.All those base cabinets should be drawers Sorry that plan is amess get a good independant kitchen designer and stop trying to impress with silly applainces for no real reason The island with the wings on the end look and function poorly steel supports are what is needed there .First you get an actual functioning design the worry about color . If you think that window far away from the kitchen is going to give you light think again maybe a bit in the morning and none for the rest of the day . A kitchen is the middle of a home is always bad planning IMO.

I'm no expert in ventilation, but I think that hood is too small to regularly run a built-in fryer in the house. Do you have space in an outdoor kitchen for the fryer? I have a built-in double burner in my outdoor kitchen and that is where I do any messy/smelly stir-frying.

That catering business wouldn’t last very long in deep south Texas without a fryer:)

I've used this palette from Sherwin Williams. If you are unsure about your ability to choose colors, it's nice to have some guidance about what looks good together.

Also, look at honed jet (or Virginia) mist granite for your counters. It's a good dupe for soapstone.

things are coming along. I chose Iceberg for the cabs, vast sky for the islands, and rhinestone for the sheet rock, floors are a light grey LPV, and ceiling bright white for the shiplap
