help with design for bathroom remodel

I’m replacing my shower/ tub with a shower only and replacing countertop. I’m keeping my floor and painting my vanity a navy blue.
I have already ordered frameless shower doors with matte black track and white Carrera Subway to ceiling for shower and matching white counter top. I want to know if I can use brushed gold shower and sink fixtures. I also can’t decide what paint and if I should do an accent behind sink walk or behind toilet wall.
I’m attaching photos of my current grey and white bath, and my inspiration vanity as well as the doors I’ve ordered. Thank you for any help.

If there's any way you can replace the flooring would suggest you include that in the remodel. IMO it's going to date your bath even if you remodel the rest.

You don't need to do an accent anywhere. I would also look at replacing the floor like Norwood said. I don't see how Carrara in the shower is going to work with the floor. Also, once you remove the tub, are you sure they're going to be able to fit the shower in perfectly with the floor? Since you have a shower curtain I can't tell if the side of the tub is straight or not. Have you had a contractor evaluate this already?

I could do the floor. Yes my contractor did all the measurements. What would you recommend for flooring?

The color is called Carrara but it looks like white subway. It is an Onyx Collection. The floor of the shower is solitude and is more of a light grey, which does match the floor. Both bath places told me it works.

THis is my fave for bathrooms 12 x24 plain porcelain tile for both bathroom floor and shower walls the fewer grout lines the better in any shower. I like anice sgower screen instaed of doors with a track the counter can ten be something a bit flashier . I do not like black and navy together but I love chrome fictures they are timeless and easy to keep clean. Bathrooms are small spaces and they keep their good looks for a long time when everything major is kept simple then over time you can change wall color, accessories and make the space feel new .

Personally, I like your floor and tile choice.

Gold is fine, silver works too since you already have that. Just make sure to have all one color. Sink faucets, mirror. light, shower faucets, cabinet pulls, etc.

The white subway tiles in the shower will make it brighter and lighter, love that. I assume you want to go gold because it looks so nice with the navy cabinet but I would suggest going black on your cabinet and sticking with black and white basics, gold accents. And yes, I would replace the floor with white tile. Good luck on your adventure!

Do not do an accent wall. The room will look much better and have more light if you can replace the wall between the shower and vanity with a pony wall topped by glass. I agree that minimal grout in a shower is a very good thing-consider using slabs instead of tiles on the shower walls. Slabs are available in both porcelain and stone.

Great plan! I love the brushed gold as it adds so much interest. And I like your pops of greenery you already have going on. I recommend keeping it light and bright, so no accent wall. I don't think changing the floor is at all necessary, but would love to see a colorful runner rug in the space. Good luck.

Leave the bathtub. Or get a new tub - the steel ones are nice if you do not want cast iron. Tile the walls white or a classic antique color, and get a nice shower curtain in a nice color other than black or grey. Do the whole room in a nice color like aqua, pink, yellow or light green - or keep all white and use color in your towels and shower curtain and rugs. Stay away from trendy ideas like greys/blacks and glass doors that are difficult to clean and just all around a bad idea.

The floor looks fine unless it is ceramic or porcelain tile (where glass breaks easily if dropped). If so, replace with softer material like real wood, or Armstrong VCT tile and use high gloss varnish on either.

I had this very same setup. If you would consider new flooring then I would suggest taking out the wall between to shower area and vanity area. This would eliminate a useless door and it opens the space making it light and airy. I put in a free standing glassed in shower with no door where the tub used to be and my vanity is also free standing. It seems like I doubled the space!

And by the way why do you want an accent wall in your bathroom? Who wants to accent a toilet???? Paint it all the same colour.

Removing that wall was my first choice. But then I found out that we would have to break up the concrete slab under the tub to move the plumbing.

That's too bad. I don't remember dealing with concrete and the wall only had the plumbing for the tub. It would make a world of difference. Something to consider

I have subway tiles in my shower and I love them. Make sure you can get pencil thin grout lines. It helps a lot with keeping it clean.

All of your colors and finishes are not making sense together to me. The current vanity color works with the current floor because of the grey and warm floor tones. Change the vanity to cold white and navy and it doesn't work as well anymore. Get a quote for changing the floors.

I don't love the idea of gold with your black shower door hardware. What color did you want to use for the shower head and temperature controls?

    Hello. How are you

    you can use marble sheet

Hi, I appreciate your selection for the renovation. My recommendation would be to refrain from adding any colors to the walls other than white. The combination of white, navy blue and gold is excellent, and in my opinion, choosing three colors is always the best approach to express a home's interior.

I wanted to use the brushed brass (brushed gold) for shower head and controls, as well as the sink. Would black shower faucets work better and only use the brushed brass on the sink and vanity knobs. I could use a black mirror over sink to tie it together.
