Ok…Not an expert here. I went back and reviewed the Chris Wilson HVX. I recommend you view the part starting about 24 1/2 minutes. After reviewing, I am thinking it’s not. While it looks like ink bleed, it seems too uniform and consistent over the leaf. In the video the ink bleed seems more random in different parts of the leaves. It’s an excellent video and I took the time to watch it.

Forgot to mention, my Sagae looked like this one year and people told me it was chlorosis.

FWIW, (mine are in the ground) I've had leaves show up looking just like that, bkay. I can't remember them staying that way, so they must have colored up right, or they were covered by new leaves. But there was no problem with the hosta in the long run.

I think it is chlorosis caused by too much water earlier? Too fast growth?

I would use Epsom salt and foliar feed it. I generally follow Smiling Gardener website for all my foliar concoctions and have had great results. Alternatively to Epsom salt I use mix of fish hydrolysed, kelp, EM and a touch of molasses.

I do not know if it will help older leaves. It won't hurt for sure.

My first thought was, "..ugh, epson salts???". On second thought, it's been said that, in Tennessee, the ground contains something akin to epson salts. So, that could make some sense for a Lakeside hosta.
