I think it would be easier for people to offer ideas if you would remove the clutter - and just have the pieces of furniture and/or accessories that you are thinking about keeping.

While you can tell people to ignore the extra stuff, it is distracting when trying to imagine the possibilities.

you don't need to get more furniture to handle the clutter, you need to edit first. get rid of the clutter, then arrangle the room.

Remove everything and put the bed where you want it to be. add what you NEED, donate the rest.

It looks like you have the right idea, with where things are located. However you might look at decluttering the bedroom and closet and then see what you want to keep and what you might want to get rid of.

Your duvet doesn't match or coordinate with your rugs. The wallpaper coordinates with neither. I like the natural tones. I'd get a duvet cover that goes with your rugs. I'd get some art. I might add a pop of color, but something that goes with the rugs. The tall dresser in the closet goes nicely with your rugs.

I'd get two natural wood nightstands with several drawers for some of your stuff. Matching the tall dresser would be good with those rugs. I'd hang the round mirror, which also goes well and get rid of the propped mirror.

You could move your rugs out of your bedroom and do an entirely different color scheme, but it seems to me that it wouldn't take much to make a cohesive whole with the rugs and some of the furniture you have.
