Twentieth Century Fox is lovely. The Pink Aloha seedling has a pretty color. The other seedlings look good as well. I like the No Boys Allowed seedling but then I like them all!

Twentieth Century Fox is lovely with all its ruffles edged white. I also like the first Kingdom without End seedling. It has an interestingly shaped watermark and a rich petal color.

It rained here all day off and on. We got out for only about a half an hour this morning.

Thanks for you comments, Nan! When Twentieth Century Fox has clean blooms, it is really something. The first blooms are about 7.5 inches and scapes are 33 inches tall this year. I haven't had much luck hybridizing with it since it doesn't like to set pods. The seeds I've gotten with her pollen have always molded or rotted. 20th is registered as a late, but its always been early for me. Dan Hansen's lates, as well as his mother's lates, never proved to be late bloomers in TN.

I like the first Kingdom Without End seedling because it has a white edge. I prefer #2's color and wish that one had a white edge. I'm looking forward to seeing how these seedlings develop with more heat.

Kay - Thank you for your comments. I was very pleased with the Pink Aloha and Forty Days seedlings. The flower on the No Boys seedling is larger than in previous years. I wish the scape were taller.

Maryl - The Pink Aloha seedling above is a brand new one. That's its first flower ever. I do really like it.

Debra: Are you taking all your Pink Aloha seedlings with you? They just bowl me over every time I see them. I just don't have the room right now to protect them. But I know someone who might-lol............Maryl

Maryl - I'm taking the one you liked in previous years. It has a lot of dormancy and has shown bud counts in the 20s at least once. I'll have to see how the newer ones progress this season. If I'm only taking one of the two with Bubblegum Queen, I'll take things like bloom size, scape height, multiplying and reblooming into account when deciding which one goes. Neither has a high enough bud count at this point to consider registering. It would take a couple more years of growth to really know their potential.
