Yes, you are correct. There is a custom color matched ladder that rolls on both sides of the closet. Unfortunately it didn't get pulled out of its niche for the photoshoot!

Where did you get the ladder and the rails it runs on? Are the rails the little silver detail ? Looks like it angles out past the drawers? I'd love a photo of that in action.

The ladder was made by Putnam Rolling Ladder Co and sent to our cabinet shop to be custom finished in the exact same paint and glaze as the cabinets. The ladder tucks back in the cubby next to the shoe rack on the right when not in use. You are correct. It does angle out. It has a "hook & slide" fixture which means it can removed from one section of the track to another. We wish we had photos of the ladder out also!
