Does chimney need work?

Shortly after a new roof in 2017, our chimney or flashing leaked. Insurance wouldnt cover damages due to material on outside of chimney (the peach one), which passed our homebuying inspection. took forever to find a repairman, so we used a roofer who replaced the flashing, covering, and cap. i havent seen new water, but i dont notice many chimneys that look like mine and i am concerned it can leak or burn. it has lasted a few years so far, but not sure what to do. difficult to find competent people here.

Can we get a zoomed pin picture? If its masonry, proper crown/cap, and tuck pointing of the mortar are critical. The flashing, if done properly, should be fine for the duration.

No, the brick looking photo was the before photo. It was NOT brick but some cheap wrap around, we never knew until the leak. It was replaced by a roofer with the white covering. i am not sure of the material, but my house is white siding.
