A few from Thursday

Bob and I got out in the garden early today. It was hot but the humidity wasn't oppressive and we tried to get some hybridizing done. So that means we didn't concentrate on photos. It was a good day for photography. There were some clouds so the sun wasn't so strong on the plants.

Black Rock Spire is a small flower.

Chico Tim continues to do well.

This was the first time I noticed Chipmunk blooming.

Exotic Starfish had a photo worthy bloom today.

Gryphon Arlow Stout

Heavenly Velociraptor

I'm a King Bee is a large flower.

Milk Chocolate

Odell is registered at 4.5 inches but I think it is smaller than that in our garden. Maybe it's because it was in the'crush zone' last summer.

More to come . . .

    Old Time Memories

Stop the Car is doing better now the trees are gone and it gets more sun.

    Sun Panda

Here is Queen of the Garden today. I think this one bloomed right before the big storm last year and it was in the 'crush zone'. Its tag is missing but I believe it is Pineapple Bites X Extreme Tangerine. Needless to say, we are very happy with this one.

Bob likes Sea of Cinders X Tet. Spindazzle.

Sonoran Desert Rose X Crimson Stories was another one in the 'crush zone'. I have been waiting for it to make an appearance.

The next two are sibling--Tropical Fusion X Saber Tooth Tiger.

    That's all for today.

Oh, not to have oppressive humidity!! Great photos today. I like all of them! The end!

Old Time Memories and Stop the Car are very bright. I’m a King Bee can’t be missed in that clump. In the scheme of bright, I can see why the queen made the cut today. Very nice. Although very different I like both the Tropical Fusion seedlings.

Your seedlings are my favorites today. Sea of Cinders X is my fav of the seedlings. Quite a toothy accomplishment with the garden Queen today, that is spectacular. Glad it survived the big crush!

I like the pattern on your 1st Tropical Fusion seedling. The sibling is nice too in a different color.........Not a fan of Milk Chocolate, but I know others like that color.....Black Rock Spire has just about perfect form and pattern. Gold Star............Maryl

Black Rock Spire and Chico Tim are striking. The queen of the garden has a fantastic edge and deserves her crown. I find the second Tropical Fusion seedling appealing.

Exotic Starfish is a very good. photo. I like Gryphon Arlow Stout and the winner is the seedling winner of the day.

I, too like the color of Sea of Cinders X Tet. Spindazzle , and I like Sonoran Desert Rose X Crimson Stories and the first of the Tropical Fusion X Saber Tooth Tiger. siblings.

Your seedlings again capture attention. Tropical Fusion here is not a fast multiplier and has closely spaced buds. Its color is intense, and progeny might have better growth.
