I had funny thoughts about you out in your robe in the garden! Really, who hasn’t done that at one time? The lighting is different, isn’t it? I won’t see Bela Lugosi or Ruby Spider this year in my garden but yours look nice!

Beautiful pics before the storm. I believe that storm is what is predicted for our area late Wednesday to early Thursday but I don't have any confidence in our weatherperson.

Beautiful photos before your storm! Sweet Isabela and Bela Lugosi look great! My Bela Lugosi is doing better this year than it has in many - lot so buds and branching this time.

Bela Lugosi took last season off. It is loaded with scapes and buds this season. The first blooms were splotchy. Here are a few that survived the rain.

Just a cloud passing by makes me want to grab my camera. I've given up on rain itself. Your garden shots are lovely and at least you had clothes on-lol.......Got to ask what the golden yellow is in your first two shots. It draws your eye into the bed and makes all the other colors stand out....Your Cat Dancer just gets me. It is so suited to your climate and does itself proud.....Maryl

Maryl, the golden yellow is Ciel d’Or. It is taller than stats this season…I have alot that are matching stats this year. This bed is raised, so a yardstick is a must to be accurate. Cat Dancer is one of those old daylilies with a perfect pattern on every bloom, glad I got it.

Kate, lol, you should trade bugs for rain! I hear bugs are our new protein.

I am glad you got a few pix before the rain, but I know those daylilies will give your even more gorgeous flowers tomorrow. I love the first two garden photos--so pretty! Those last four daylilies sure do look good even after the rain. Heavenly Hidden Treasure is my favorite of the bunch.
