What a nice white seedling. Not a huge fan of white daylilies but that one is very pretty.........I lost about 2/3rds of my outdoor overwintering daylilies last winter. Just too many single digit and below days. Cherokee Star almost vanished except for a few small blades. Despite that it did manage to pop up 3 blooms (which I couldn't capture because of my knee). Hopefully it will recover in the next few years. You know how I like that color of red................Maryl

The Last Snowflake seedling is a pretty one-love the edge. I always love Sun Temple Spirit and Mystic Maize. STS seems to perform so well for you. Same for Kentucky Lucky and in a clump it is so pretty. I would have to add another HOT to yours-we had heat index of 108 yesterday. It just hurt to breathe walking outside.

Kate and Maryl - Thanks for the comments on the white seedling. The flowers seemed rounder last year, but I think it has a better edge this season.

Kate - Sun Temple Spirit performs well in both drought and rainy seasons.

Maryl - If you need a replacement on Cherokee Star, let me know and I can send you some. I'm surprised yours had trouble with the low temps last winter.

What a lovely bright post, Debra! Sun Temple Spirit is a pretty one but Cherokee Fire is my kind of color,,,red! I like Mystic Maze and if it is taller than I Lava You, it has good height. for sure. I like the Cliclbait seedling and especially like the August Frost one.

I am a fan of the white seedling too, so pretty! I like Mystic Maze, love the bloom shape. Cherokee slways steals the show with that bright red, mine just started. It was awful humid here on Saturday.

Sherry - I really like the shape of Mystic Maize too! The shape is what prompted me to buy it.

Coral Majority is a favorite of mine. I've made crosses with it and it doesn't seem to matter what I've crossed it with, it comes out some shade of red. Purple Passion's Promise is really pretty. (August Frost X Winter's Angel) X Last Snowflake is a nice white.

Brad - My Coral Majority has not bloomed well for the past few years because it was in too much shade. I moved it last year, but apparently the grubs got to it because it's very short and short on buds. In the first five years I had it, it was always tall and loaded with buds. I'd love to see it like that again. The color just glows and is a standout.

I see that A Groovy Kind of Love is out of Frieda Allen Jerrell. Is it more vigorous than Frieda? I like the color.

Mantis - I don't grow Frieda, so I can't compare Groovy with it. Groovy is growing in a pot and hasn't multiplied much there.
