If I were the one sleeping on the bathroom side of the bed, I’d be annoyed when the light came on, shining right in my face. Also the smells and sounds so close to me would certainly not bode well for a good nights sleep. So, yes, I’d move the bed to the opposite wall.

I would prefer the bed on the opposite wall if there's enough room for the door to open/close. Our room size is similar to yours and I like to switch the bed at least once a year just to change up the feel of the space. Can't go wrong either way but not sure I would like being that close to the bathroom and having a nightstand there too. Not sure if you just painted the room already, but if not, consider changing wall color to something more complimentary with woodwork and flooring.

I'd want to be away from the bathroom door, so I vote other wall.

The other wall. This will allow you to have unblocked access to the sliding doors. I would put the occasional chair and a dresser with lamp at the other end of the room near the bathroom.

Thank you all for weighing in! It looks like the opposite wall is unanimous. I will post pictures when there's real furniture and a fresh coat of white paint for the walls.
