Tall Blonde was really tall this time.

Landon Lee had not bloomed in two years. It's in a lot of shade now, but it managed to have four scapes this year.

Divas in Diamonds had slightly shorter scapes and fewer buds than last year. Like everything else I watered last season, it was hit by grubs.

I sold most of No Boys Allowed this Spring. What is left did not perform well in its fertilized pot. It onlly had four or five buds per scape. But the blooms were so pretty!

Love the Biltmore Style seedling, what a lovely bitone and great color! I like Tall Blonde too, There I go getting attracted to those simple beauties again.

Confessions X Entwined seedling is simple but has alot going for it. Those late bloomers are valued here, nice color.

Some really pretty ones here. Kentucky Lucky always looks good. The Biltmore Style seedling is really pretty. August Cherry lives up to its name. I always like Carmen Renee and Ruth Watkins Davidson is, well, it’s a pink you know!!

Kay - So glad to see Dearest Valentine is reblooming for you! It's reblooming here now, and it rebloomed for Kate too. There's A Place does have beautiful colors, and I love the bluish eye.

Kate - Kentucky Lucky puts on a good show here every year. It's actually bloomed late the last few years. The first couple of years I had it, it bloom EM. It's one of my bud kings this year.

Which Davissons are not being taken? So Irresistible is a beautiful bloom photo. A DeVito. Make sure that your new place does not have too much shade. However, I must admit that I enjoy the fact that the early morning garden in the back is mainly shaded. Imagine if one had to look at daylilies only in full sun on these hot days.

I like Garden Emerald Breezer. Great form, nice ruffles, good color. What's not to like?....Kentucky Lucky looks good at full strength, and Tall Blonde is another yellow that catches my eye.......August Cherry has been on my long list for awhile now. A few years back I almost thought I had the rare combination of room for it and a rust free source. Didn't happen. Now back to no room........Maryl

Maryl - The name of the yellow you like is actually Victorian Garden Emerald Breeze. I don't know where the Victorian part went, or how Breeze became Breezer. It's one that keeps its color on the hottest days. Are you sure you don't want August Cherry? It's dormant, and I'm not taking it with me.

Mantis - Pretty much all the Davissons are going with me, except We Are the Champions, which I sold off in the Spring, and possibly No Boys Allowed. Most of them are good performers, and they have such good resale value.
