Some of your most beautiful clump shots over the years have been of Indian Giver. I think you should dig it up and see if something got to the roots. Since it has performed well for you in the past, maybe you could try moving it.

Indian Giver here also is having a bad year. But your clump may need division.

For what it's worth: A few fears ago, Hyperion began to falter after only a year or two, so I dug it up and put into containers - it has thrived ever since. Now I don't have room for it in the ground. If pots aren't your thing, I agree that division and relocation would be your next best bet.

I would divide and give it a chance, maybe even 2 locations.

Sometimes I look at my old old pictures and can't believe how gorgeous this or that daylily used to look.

Indian Giver left our garden years ago because we felt there are much nicer daylilies out there. If you love it, I would divide it and start it over, maybe in a different location.
