I am so far behind on posting

It's been crazy busy here. We have been to the Indianapoiis area (about an hour and a half drive) three times in 4 days and entertained on July 4th and yesterday. We also dug 6 orders and shipped them out. One of the orders was for 10 daylilies. I have taken lots of photos but just haven't had the time to post.

We did get some rain here on Tuesday so the flowers have been looking pretty good. We are definitely past peak here.

Candy Bandit has just started blooming.

Candy-coated Confection is a favorite here.

Deadliest Catch looked prettier than it ever has.

Flame of the West was looking good, but on this day was more red than orange.

Fruitful Discovery has been nice this year.

I really like Glowing Quasar.

I like the delicate coloring of Heavenly Angel Kisses.

Highly Venomous has not been a fast increaser, but it is producing some lovely flowers.

Whoa mule is a good example of a reverse bitone or bicolor.

Golden Glitz is a great grower.

The late blooming seedlings are beginning and there are some exciting ones.

As you might imagine, this one is a favorite. It will be a 2025 intro. It is Susan Ruoff X Carrots Forever.

Here is another 2025 intro--Lady Stephanie Victoria Redding X Rosy Spiketail.

This will be another 2025 intro if we can get the sibling separated from it. We lined them out last fall in single fans so it should be easy to do. This one--Ruffled Strawberry Parfait X Sonoran Desert Rose--is late blooming with a killer scape.

Another late blooming daylily--Weasel Teeth X Deadliest Catch

This is Raggedy Man X Carnosaur.

We have been trying to get a red daylily with a blackish eye. We have been less than successful since there is little to work with. Who would think that the closest we have come is out of Bob's fulva program. This is (Fulva Korean X Transylvanian Tango) X Crimson Stories.

This one was damaged by early morning rain, but we think it has potential. It is Deadliest Catch X (Sonoran Desert Rose X Wandering Werribee.

What a eye catching picture of Candy Bandit to start off this post....Fruitful Discovery sure is a deep color.....My favorite however is one I've never seen or heard about Whoa Mule. The colors In your picture are what intrigues me. Enough to get past the UF form? I don't know but I'll be looking this one up for sure.............Aslo your Van Helsing seedling looks good to me too.........Maryl

Candy Bandit is indeed eye candy! Fruitful Discovery and Flame of the West are striking. Golden Glitz looks wonderful and bright in clump form. Your fiture intros are so pretty! And I really like the Van Hesling seedling! Good post with lots of beauties!

Such nice toothy seedlings. I hope you have good luck with them after registration! Heavenly Angel Kisses caught my eye ,such a delicate beauty.

Van Helsing X Angelique Fringes and Lady Stephanie Victoria Redding X Rosy Spiketail are favorite from seedlings.
