I think we would need a ton more info 6k sq ft is a huge space how many people are invited. Is there dinner sit down or buffet . Where is your wedding planner ? Big ???? what is your budget . To decorate 6k of sqaure feet even if all rented pieces will be a huge expense so provide us with the budget and the style . THis a maybe a good inspo anyway Maybe provide the actual dimensions of the space and explain what nweeds to be in there for the dinner for sure

No banquette seating. Hard for servers to serve over and if you have a black tie affair, you want the service well coordinated with an "invisible" feel to it. Leaning over banquettes won't work.

Work with your wedding planner to think about the flow of your event. What parts of the wedding happen under the tent? Cocktails? Dessert? Dancing? Only dinner? What will make people gravitate to actually sitting on the lounge chairs - having them by the bar or away from the bar? Where in the flow of traffic should they be? It looks silly to have nice party furniture if it is not actually used and your planner should know these answers.

Also, think about bringing in large potted floor plants, trees to the space to set off the lounge furiture area from the rest of the area.

Have your planner source furniture from vendors in your area to see what types of lounge furniture is available in pink. And, is it the shade of pink you want?

Are there other elements of pink in your wedding colors? Does your significant other like pink?

That's around a 60x100' tent. How many guests? Are you planning on tables and seating for dining, or no? You said banquette seating, so I would guesss yes and you are planning on rectangular or square tables instead of round ones. How many seats per table are you planning? Having a dance floor/DJ? Is the cake table there, and/or dessert or coffee service stations? The bar? Present table?

Since you say it's black tie, that means the entire tent should be floor tiled. But with the whole tent solid surface, that can allow you a bit more freedom than if you had a partial grass and partial floor under the tent.

Are your renting the furniture? Often rental services have linens in a lot of colors, and you can ask for chair covers in pink for your dining chairs. You could also choose pink table linens and table decor. I kind of doubt you will find pink couches or other loungers for rent. So if you want those in pink, be prepared to buy it.

Are you planning on using the fuchsias in the floral arrangements on the tables? The red and purple ones are most common, and the red and white ones are pretty common too. Be aware that they have a short life as a cut flower, only a couple days.

There will be about 220 people and the tent area will need to include seating for everyone, a large dance floor, stage for the band, a large bar area and tables for food stations. We are using a sail cloth tent. I have a wedding planner however, we are both open to getting ideas from other sources-- hence the reason why I posted on here. At this point, I am open to both renting and buying furniture because all of the rental places that I have seen don't have a huge selection of "lounge" type furniture that would fit the aesthetic.

In large part, I plan on using white florals however we have decided to incorporate some pink in the hanging florals to tie everthing together with the (hopefully) pink accent furniture.

I really just need assistance with ideas for incorporating the furniture/ types of furniture in with the general design and unique furniture/ staging ideas.

Ok, so not using fuchsias then? The pink ones aren't too common, but maybe you have a florist source for them.

For 220, you are going to want a 24x24 for a large dance floor. The stage depends on the band and their instruments, and how much space they need. Up to 5, you can get away with around 12x16', but a larger stage would be better. If you got 6+ in the band, you want to offer 20x24' or better.

What are your tables? As in what shape, and how many seats per table? And what's the head table setup? What size/how many tables are for service? And what size do you mean by a large bar?

Could you share with us what you and your wedding planner have come up with so far for plans? That could help us know what you have already covered.

You need to aslo talk to the caterer as to what they need for how the food is to be handled . I think a bit of pink can be nice too much not so much. Why not pink flowers and maybe chair covers if the right shade of pink . Is the wedding party weraing pink ? IMO the decor should connect to the wediing party style and colors . My son and DIL had a black and white wedding all the decor was black and white but her boquet was red and white roses and that is the color for any of the other decor . It was very elegant looking and made sense. I made the wedding cake in the darkest chocolate I could find and just fresh smae roses on the top 5 layers
