Coral gray is better with the windows

Totally agree with @chispa regarding brick climbing up the widow. Delete it. I also.prefer the more uniform appearance of Stone Bay. Use the $2,700 for something else, maybe landscaping.

I like the stone bay veneer better, the coral gray one reminds me of when mold/lichen builds up on brick and blackens it, and also kind of like someone did some painting on it. Looks even more of a veneer than that stone bay does. I agree with chispa about the triple window, the extra veneer there isn't doing any favors to the windows.

I would say that, over time, the brick that most people seem to object to on their 40 or 50 year old house is more often variegated than plain. So I think plainer brick has more longevity.

I follow a couple sites about local redevelopment on Facebook, and people are starting to have more negative reactions to multiple finishes and more patterned looking stone and brick veneers. The most recent infills in my area (which are quite a bit more expensive and bigger than the existing stock) are almost exclusively a uniform brick color of some sort, as opposed to a few years ago, when the new houses displayed all kinds of variegated materials and textures. Those houses are being called dated, and they aren't even that old. I don't think it's so much that they are dated, it's more like there was just too much going on from the very beginning, but it was popular so people didn't notice as much.

Another vote for Stone Bay for all the reasons mentioned. The busy-ness of having multiple exterior house finishes, especially when they are in the grey-black-white range is just so tired and depressing looking imo. I hope what palimpsest said is true - that people are finally tiring of this look.

LOL^^ .I voted for Coral Gray but I'm changing my vote. Get the cheap brick and spend the $2700 towards getting a driveway.

Coral Gray is more dramatic which is having a moment right now. Do you want to 'date' the home? Go with the cheaper--and longevity.

Come on people, you all know that is a Model Home for the builder and they always do weird landscaping around the driveway. Many even have french doors installed at the garage door opening because the models are sometimes used as the sales office.

I'm starting to wonder if the OP is seeking confirmation bias since the two comments that seem to be more positive about coral gray is both liked and thanked by the OP, while the other comments are not.
