If you're keeping the mirror, lower it and get a taller table. It needs to relate to the table under it. The current table shown is dwarfed by it.

You need a long hefty sideboard or console as a counterpoint to ground the oversized mirror.

And place the lamp and other decor objects in front of the mirror so they can reflect in the mirror, add some depth, and break up its expanse.

It would help if the mirror were off-center so to downplay the dominance. Like a few inches closer to the corner

Lower the art on the left.

Oops I forgot the seating. Leave room for a small bench on the left... under the stairs. You would need sliding doors on the credenza...no knee bumpers on hinges.
