Irfanview works very easily. I used to use it when I had MS Windows [I use Linux operating system now. Download both the program and the plugins. https://www.irfanview.com/ 

Debra, so sorry about the computer problems. Mine almost died this spring, was completely unusable, but thank goodness for good and kind people in this world, one guy fixed it, he said it is very old but can work for a bit more :)

I did hear good things about Irfanview. And also have Elements. But I am so computer stupid and afraid to touch anything, that I just use whatever came with it in Windows 10. The app is called Photos (blue icon). I open pictures in it, right click on an open photo and choose Resize Image. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. When I get a new laptop, I'll get Irfanview.

Nat - What you said about the Photos app made me retry Resize on Photoshop Elements on the Mac Book. The function to change the resolution was included with the resizing. So now I can make my photos usable here!

I always have to resize photos if I sell on the Lily Auction (which has been some time ago). It think it's resize.com.
