There are some mophead hydrangeas that retain their mostly pink coloration regardless of soil chemistry. The most common are Glowing Embers and Mathilda Gutges. MG is known for presenting with a range of colors on the same plant.

Beautiful! Another possibility is LA Dreamin' hydrangea which is supposed to have blue, purple, and pink flowers in neutral soil.

These hydrangeas are a vivid example of how soil pH can affect the coloration of hydrangea flowers. Typically, the presence of aluminum ions, which are more available in acidic soils, will lead the flowers to turn blue. Conversely, in more alkaline soils where aluminum ions are less available, the flowers will appear pink.

However, what we're observing in the image - hot pink mixed with blue flowers - is a variety that can exhibit multiple colors irrespective of the soil's pH.

Looking at nursery pictures It seems that MG color does depend on pH so I would end up with blue on my 5.75 soil. Also read that genteically it's same as LA Dreaming and the remontant Endless Summer, ehich is blue for me. So, vGlowing Embers a better bet?

I wouldn't necessarily rely on nursery pictures to get the full understanding of how some macs coloring is independent of soil pH. According to hydrangea authorities, there are several cultivars that will produce bright pink, purple and blue flowers all at the same time relatively independent of pH. These include Mathilda Gutges, LA Dreaming, Merritt's Supreme and to a lesser extent, Glowing Embers (and several cultivars similar to GE that will remain pink even in somewhat acidic soil conditions).

Obviously, if your soil pH is skewed heavily to the acidic or to the alkaline side of the scale, that will have an impact.

I would also add that ES The Original is NOT genetically the same as MG or LA Dreaming. It will NOT produce multi-colored flowers at the same time on the same plant (and its genetics were highly controlled at breeding)
