Paint the garage door to match the house. You don't want it to be a focal point. Paint the front door in a contrasting color to emphasize it instead. Fill in the planting beds to give them weight and emphasis.

Bring the bed to the left as far out as the to where the path turns towards the garage and swing the bed in a curve towards the left side of the house. Place a large shrub under the high window and a small ornamental tree off the left side, including it as part of the bed. Most of the rest of what will now be a large bed should be pretty low so as not to look as if it's engulfing the house and path. The tree and large shrub will balance the huge garage.

Remove that head-banger hanging plant on the porchlet. That space is too small. Don’t hang anything there - keep the view of your front door wide open. (Including NOT planting anything on the ground in front of it, unless it’s less than 2’ tall.)
