It won't be full throughout the year if it's deciduous. At least I imagine it is. I don't know any cream flowered evergreen honeysuckles that are hardy in Connecticut. Do you know what kind it is?

In the three years have you fed it or changed the soil?

Once you've refreshed the medium and started feeding and watering regularly you could cut it back.

Hello! Thank you so much for your feedback. This is a scentsation honeysuckle and we have a lot of these in new england. I haven’t changed the soil and fed pretty irregularly. She hasn’t leafed out much at all this year, unfortunately. This is the year I plant to repot most of my containers so I’ll try trimming her back after that and see what happens!
