Is tha actaully wood floor? I do not like tiles that are not the same butted to each other and IMO tile closet is kind of cold . The big thing for me is the fact you need to go trhough the bathroom to the closet and those glass shalves holding shoes are going to be adusting nightmare . If you already bought the tiles a simple stacked pattern with matching grout for sure

Rip out the scary dangerous shiny slippery bath floor and do all the floors in the same matte tile. not blah and boring gray either. Something else. Something with some life to it.

Those 2 tiles do not work well together.

What is the flooring in the bedroom? I would use that in the closet too.

If you have to do tile, I would pick a completely plain tile in a color found in the bathroom tile.

Thanks for the comments everyone. The tile is already purchased, and the designer in the tile store felt pulling in the color in the shower floor made the most sense. It’s hard to tell in the pic but the shower floor is pretty much the exact same color as the tile going in the closet.
As for tile in the closet not being the best idea… agreed, but not my decision lol. I believe my wife plans to put a large area rug in the middle. The bedroom is carpet, and that’s what was in the closet but I pulled it up.
While the 2 tiles together don’t look great in the pic, I will say the shower looks good, and the shower walls are the same tile (just different size) as the bathroom floor

I would lay it in the direction you are showing it and do 1/3 brick pattern - why ask for trouble doing 1/2. Most manufacturers state that the layout needs to be a 33% offset.

A straight stack could work as well but since you have an island in that closet, will you have weird grout lines showing ?

It is too bad you have already bought the tile. You may regret it the first time you drop your glasses or a bottle of cologne and it shatters.
