Raised Panel Kitchen Cabinets

Greetings from Lower Alabama. I'm updating a Colonial house in a rural setting. My house has raised panel interior doors, traditional style if you will. I'm picking out kitchen cabinets at moment, everyone is telling me to buy Shaker which I currently have, and don't love. Are Raised Panel appropriate for a Southern look? We are a decade of two behind the times, around here. Will be putting white/silver quartz, nickel hardware-faucet-lighting.

raised panel would be fine.....it's never been out of style....style is relative.....stylish means it likely works well in the surroundings ..... kitchens and home details have numerous points where aesthetics are built or layered in.........shaker has come into the marketplace in a big way...but its not the only style...

Raised panel would be fine.

So would flat panel with more detail than a shaker.
