Here's one idea. You could do family pictures or other art in the frames. I like this look because it's a feature but not too busy, and it doesn't stick out into the room.

This post shows so much more of your kitchen, which is really helpful. Your kitchen has my eye going in a lot of directions and there is a lot of visual interest already - two separate islands, four intricate semi-flush mounts, glass doors with stacks of books, views into different rooms. All this makes me want to see some unity across that back wall. I vote for large artwork instead of a galley of multiple pieces, or three very simple, subtle pieces of art framed in a matte silver frame to echo the lights but without the shine.

Does anyone have thr ability to photoshop those ideas on my wall?
