We are on a tight timeline for a bathroom reno and are on our second American Standard Princeton tub because of quality control issues - second one worse than the first. Apparently they are having issues recently with the enamel chipping easily or turning orange. Our rep had to send out 10 tubs recently before one showed up with no issue!!! He said almost every client is having issues with these tubs now. Really bummed because I like the specs of the tub - higher than standard depth yet lower than soaking. This will be a kids bathroom. I also like that the style fits an older home. Which bathtub do we try next? Needs to be an alcove tub 60x30, not cast iron. Build.com rep recommended Kohler Entity (shorter height than I’d like) or American Standard Studio (acrylic, not americast so no enamel issues). Both look more modern design than I’d like. Main priority is quality. I need help! Thank you!
