You need a warm white or warm off-white. IDK anything about F&B paint so can't help you there.

I like what you have it is just right and not boring like a a warmwhite will be .

It has an LRV (light reflective value) of 74%, so that means it reflects back 74% of the light that hits it. Not sure why anyone would think it's dark. I think it could look nice in your room, but you need to view it in your room with your light.

If you look at the Farrow and Ball website they have dozens of pictures of this paint in actual rooms and it looks like everything from white to fairly beigy depending upon the natural light. I don't think it's too dark, it's the lightest off-white in it's series, but maybe you could test Wimborne White as well. LRV 89 on that one.

I have Schoolhouse White on the walls in several rooms and I’m still in love with it. I feel like it brings light.
