I just renovated for the first time and installed 12x24 honed dolomite on the floor, vanity wall and shower.

They grouted prior to sealing the stone. Is this a huge problem?

Also, my contractor told me the sub doesn’t think they have to seal the space and he doesn’t either and alarms went off in my head. I’m deeply concerned now about how this has been handled and the people working my job.

Can anyone speak to how big an issue it is to grout honed marble before sealing? What can i do now fix that if anything?

Does polished marble and honed marble require different sealer?
What is the best brand to buy. TYIA
