problem with azt carbon grey granite

Anyone else have problems with this stone? Ours has adhesive bleeding through not to mention anytime we set something down or do meal prep it’s impossible to remove marks. Need to replace but can’t find anything with same look. What can we do?

That’s a beautiful stone. What a shame about the spots. Have you reached out to the fabricator?

Yes. Granite is going to be replaced. The large round spots are adhesive that came to surface when sealed once so he didn’t seal further. The other spots are everyday messes that are difficult to remove maybe because it wasn’t sealed 3-4 times per recommendation. The dilemma now is do I get the same stone and have it sealed on both sides prior to adhering and run the risk of it still being a problem or do I just get something different like the black mist honed. The carbon grey is so beautiful and the color is so beautiful.

That’s great that they are willing to replace it. i hope someone who has the same stone can weigh in on their experience with it. Have you looked into soapstone?
