The larger tile I mentioned would not be in the shower, unless as mentioned by Joseph, you are doing a trench drain and have planned that out in advance with the installers. A 24 x 48 tile on the floor with a closely matched grout can give an appearance of being one piece of flooring ( the opposite of seeing a mosaic or 4 x 4 tile ) .

You are asking for $100 a squre fot plus failure.
