I have a new area of the garden with a weeping eastern white pine - pinus strobus angel falls as a focal point. I’m having trouble being creative designing the area closely around it with perennials/annuals that contrast well with the texture and color of the pine. (First time using a pine or something weeping as a focal point)

Anyone have any personal experience with this in their own garden and found good companion plants for weeping pines? color and texture wise. im in zone 7b
